Head of Talent – North East and Yorkshire
Zoe leads the regional talent team in in the North East and Yorkshire region. She joined the Leadership and Lifelong Learning team of NHS England and Improvement in September 2021, bringing organisation and people development expertise gained in senior roles across the NHS, civil service and private sector over 20+ years.
Zoe takes a collaborative approach to developing and delivering the talent agenda, working with local systems for the benefit of our patients and citizens. She is an inclusive, enthusiastic and values-driven Organisational & People Development professional and leader with an MSc in People and Organisational Development from Roffey Park (2015) & an MA in Business & Management (2005). Zoe is also passionate about coaching and is an ILM7-accredited Leadership and Executive Coach (Leeds Beckett 2019) and Founder of York Coaching Circle – 2011- present.
She is a ‘foodie’ (married to a chef) who lives in York and enjoys long walks in the countryside, horse-riding, reading, having a laugh, travel, keeping chickens and adores cats.
Zoe was Board Member at York Cares (Charity) 2015 and was part of a brilliant team who achieved Overall Winner Personnel Today awards (2020) – overall winner in ‘Best of the Best, ‘HR Impact’ & Health & Wellbeing categories for Covid19 Health & Wellbeing response for the NHS.
