2025 Leaders

The learning format includes:

  • A briefing call to prepare for the programme and where you review your psychometric profiling tools, identify your broad ‘system leadership challenge’ and personal developmental edge
  • An initial design event where the group shares the current issues and challenges of their day to work with the faculty to shape the learning content for the rest of the programme
  • A further 24 hour residential following the design event, looking at personal governance, trustworthiness and organisational cultures and their effect on intentional change, to explore theories of change, to continue to refine your leadership challenges and to prepare for the study visit
  • A week-long study visit to Denmark to observe and experience a different health system first hand – covering population health and prevention, patient empowerment, E-heath, the new role of future hospitals, the elderly medical patient and the dementia plan
  • A four-day residential shaped to include time to reflect on the Denmark study visit and to equip participants with a range of new ideas, experience of practical tools and techniques as well as providing them with the space for reflection in your own context and the opportunity to further co-consult in small groups on your ‘leadership’ challenges – including how can we use our reading of our context and experience of innovation on the frontline to evolve a health system that adapts to grow an increasingly healthy population
  • Opportunities for peer-to-peer consultation and/or placement experiences – chances to visit each other’s systems and practice some of the new capabilities by supporting a colleague in their own day-to-day work
  • A 24 hour – over two days consolidation event which will include consolidating your learning about leading in a complex context and critical reflection on leadership challenges, where next and where to from here?
  • The chance to engage in one-to-one coaching with one of our experienced ‘system aware’ coaches
  • Psychometric profiling
