Eligibility

The programme is open to NHS Employed staff who want to use mentoring as a leadership development intervention to enable return to work transitioning before, during and after extended leave or in preparation for transitioning out of an organisation. This can include:

  • Existing NHS Mentors (accredited or unaccredited) operating through their local leadership academy register or within their own organisation
  • Existing accredited NHS employed Coaches (or those embarking on an accredited coaching programme) operating through their local leadership academy register or within their own organisation
  • Individuals wanting to access return to work mentoring or understand more (mentee) before/during/after taking extended leave from their organisation or preparing to leave an organisation permanently
  • Individuals who have a responsibility (directly or indirectly) to support staff returning to work before/during/after extended leave or preparing to leave an organisation permanently e.g. HR Professionals/Team Leaders/Occupational Health staff and want to understand how to embed mentoring and/or implement a return to mentoring scheme within their organisation/team
  • Individuals who work within the leadership development space including Organisational Development, Talent Management, Inclusion and Diversity, Coaching & Mentoring, Learning & Development and would like to understand how to imbed return to work mentoring within organisational strategy
