Professional leadership programmes – With a programme for each level of leadership responsibility, we provide targeted development for all backgrounds and experiences. We turn to global experts for the incredible content and we turn to you for the ambition, compassion and drive to continue improving our healthcare system for the benefit of those that matter the most – our patients.
Healthcare Leadership Model self assessment tool – Self assessment is a helpful way to better understand your own leadership behaviours and highlight areas of strength, weakness, and areas that you may need greater focus on. The questionnaire also encourages you to think about which dimensions of the Healthcare Leadership Model are particularly important for your role, and will help you to compare how you rate yourself in these dimensions to inform your development plans. The tool is free to access and takes approximately 15-30 minutes to complete.
Healthcare Leadership Model 360 degree feedback tool – 360 degree feedback is a powerful tool to help individuals identify where their leadership strengths and development needs lie. The process includes getting confidential feedback from line managers, peers and direct reports. As a result, it gives an individual an insight into other people’s perceptions of their leadership abilities and behaviour. The tool costs £30 (+VAT) to access and you’ll receive your feedback report as part of a dedicated feedback session with an accredited facilitator.

Coaching register – Coaching is one of the key approaches through which leadership within organisations can be developed. Coaching is a method of developing an individual’s capabilities in order to facilitate the achievement of organisational success.
Local Leadership Academies – With funding from the NHS Leadership Academy and other resources, our regional partners help to develop local leaders and their organisations – with programmes, systems leadership, coaching, organisational development and mentoring, creating sustainable networks, innovation and research based resources.
