NHS Regional Clinical Leadership Fellow Scheme

What is the scheme?

The NHS Regional Clinical Leadership Fellow Scheme is a part-time 12-month fellowship programme that offers clinicians the opportunity to work within NHS regional teams to gain experience of system leadership, transformation and service improvement that will equip participants with the skills they need to lead in a complex and integrated healthcare environment.

The scheme is a structured development programme delivered alongside leading improvement projects and placements across regional clinical pathways.

Who is it for?

The scheme is for allied health professionals, doctors, dentists, healthcare scientists, midwives, nurses and pharmacists who are early career or have not had similar opportunities in the past and meet the eligibility criteria.

The NHS Regional Clinical Leadership Fellow Scheme is delivered in partnership with the Faculty of Medical Leadership and Management (FMLM) and the NHS Leadership Academy
