A content creator’s purpose is to develop and create written and audio-visual content including videography, photo editing and graphic design, that can be used across a variety of platforms and media. This may include social media, broadcast or in print. This role can be in any business where content is created to engage with its audience. 

In their daily work, they will interact with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders throughout the end-to-end content creation process. 

This apprenticeship combines the NHS Leadership Academy’s Edward Jenner programme with a level three content creator apprenticeship.

As per providers delivery of the apprenticeship. 

Online. Delivery is tailored to your organisation’s values, and you will benefit from online peer-to-peer support network. 

What’s covered 

A content creator will work to a brief. They research, prepare, and develop the messaging to maximise audience engagement.

Learn to capture the strategy and objectives of the brand and needs of the customer, client, or business.

Content created can be used as part of media, advertising, documenting, and marketing campaigns. 

You will simplify and tailor a message to suit the audience and purpose. Messages to be used across different platforms and channels. 

Interactions with clients, marketing and digital teams, production teams, budget holders, contributors, artists, and end users. 

You will be responsible for delivering high quality content on time and on budget that meets the brief.

Awareness of the legal and regulatory framework, taking this into account throughout the content development process.

You will be required to keep up to date with innovative technologies, platform developments and consumer trends.
