Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Automation Practitioner – Level 4 (with Edward Jenner)


An AI and Automation Practitioner will analyse processes, identify inefficiencies, and apply automation and AI tools to boost productivity, reduce manual effort, and enable organisations to work faster and more effectively.

This apprenticeship combines the NHS Leadership Academy’sEdward Jenner programmewith a Level 4 Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Automation Practitioner.

Identify automation opportunities and assess their viability. Learn to analyse current systems, identify inefficiencies, and recommend solutions that deliver measurable business impact.

Design and implement solutions. Design, integrate, and test digital workflows and AI automation tools, learning to configure solutions that address real-world business challenges.

Support teams with change management and user adoption. Develop the skills to engage non-technical staff, provide training, and ensure responsible, ethical implementation of AI and automation.

Monitor automation solutions, gather feedback, and refine implementations. Learn to measure and optimise productivity gains, report on efficiency improvements, and identify opportunities for continuous enhancement.
