The programme is open to NHS Employed staff and is especially beneficial for:

  • Existing internal NHS Mentors or Coaches operating through their regional leadership academy register or within their own organisation
  • Individuals with a keen interest in using their own lived experience to mentor others
  • Staff who have recently returned or will be returning shortly from redeployment in response to Covid-19
  • BAME colleagues and colleagues from other underrepresented groups
  • Individuals who have a responsibility (directly or indirectly) to support staff returning to work before/during/after extended leave or preparing to leave an organisation permanently e.g. HR Professionals/Team Leaders/Occupational Health staff and want to understand how to embed mentoring and/or implement a return to mentoring scheme within their organisation/team
  • Individuals who work within the leadership development space including Organisational Development, Talent Management, Inclusion and Diversity, Coaching & Mentoring, Learning & Development and would like to understand how to imbed return to work mentoring within organisational strategy
